This course and CPD 120 focus on the infrastructure requirements surrounding the development of real property: CPD 119 focuses on subdivision and servicing policies, while CPD 120 focuses on the physical components of infrastructure. CPD 119 explores the role public participation can play in land development and explains how political dictates at the federal, provincial, and regional levels control modern land development schemes. It describes financial dictates, both direct and those imposed by governments, as well as several methods of preparing estimates.
